Welcome to the Fairfield County Safe Kids Website

SAFE KIDS Fairfield County is a non-profit organization that addresses the issue of unintentional injury in children ages birth through 14 years of age. Unintentional injuries i.e. "accidents" are often overlooked because we feel that they were unavoidable, but in reality they are easily preventable over 90% of the time with a little forethought and proper planning, in fact they account for more death and disability to this age group than all other causes combined.

Our goal at SAFE KIDS is to help provide parents, caregivers and children with the information and tools they need to make ensure that their children have every opportunity to grow up happy healthy and SAFE.

We have developed a strong grassroots organization that places the majority of our focus on those individuals in the most need and over the years we have been able to show that our efforts are making a difference in the documented lives we have been able to save through our interventions.

Our web site is full of important information that can help you build safe environments for all our childrens.
